Satori

I just named a character, a druid, in World of Warcraft, Satori.
I like that name. I like the sound of it.
Ever since I first read about the meaning of the word while doing undergraduate studies in comparative religion I thought "how cool Satori is!"
And I still love it. I love the sound and I love the meaning.

It's most commonly associated with Buddhism and means enlightenment.
But I just found out that it's a term used in Japanese language that can mean the creative moment, the aha of sudden realization.

I've been toying around with the application and experience of enantiodromia in my life, the tendency to which things to their extremes turn into their opposites, and I was delighted to find that satori can also mean that moment when something is reconciled with its opposite.

Neato!
